Ingredients
- 200g lean beef mince
- 175g rice
- 1 onion
- 1 carton of passata (930ml)
- Selection of frozen vegetables (peas, carrots etc.)
- 1 tablespoon of chilli powder (or more if you like it spicy!)
Method
- Heat the chopped onion in a little water for 1 minute
- Add beef mince and stir-fry for a further 2 minutes until the meat is browned
- Add frozen vegetables, passata, chilli powder and simmer for 15-20 minutes
- Prepare the rice (wholegrain or Basmati is best)
- Serve chilli on a bed of rice
